Action Projects to Improve the Environment

Involving "older" People

It is important to involve people of all ages in PITCH-IN projects to Clean Up the World. There are many people in every community who have experience, enthusiasm and time which they are often eager to bring to a project which can help improve their community.

By involving people of all ages in the same project, young people realize that they are not the only ones concerned about the environment.

Here are some groups who are often eager to participate:

• Senior Citizen Organizations
• Service Clubs (Rotary, Kinsmen etc...)
• Naturalists (they are great resource people too!)
• Chambers of Commerce
• Outdoor Clubs
• Fish and Game Clubs
