2009 PITCH-IN CANADA Week
April 20-26

A UNIQUE PITCH-IN WEEK PROJECT!
PITCH-IN CANADA is partnering with Bicycles for Humanity to REUSE AND RECYCLE those old bikes.
 
The Nuts ‘n Bolts:

1. Interested PITCH-IN co-coordinators are encouraged to visit www.bicycles-for-humanity.org to locate a Chapter of Bicycles for Humanity closest to them (about 20 chapters so far and growing!)
    

2. Working together, B4H Chapters and the PITCH-IN CANADA Co-Coordinators will promote the bicycle collections to take place at the same time as the PITCH-IN CANADA event.
    

3. PITCH-IN participants will be encouraged to bring their used bikes to one central location.
    

4. At these central locations, B4H Chapter members will receive the used bicycles, and arrange storage and shipping to their partners in Africa, providing transportation and employment opportunities.

Please Note:    PITCH-IN CANADA cannot organize local bicycle collections;
                       all arrangements must be made with the local B4H Chapter.
